Scholarship Program
The foundation began offering a $500 community service award for graduating seniors in 2010. Since then we have awarded 2 scholarships in Vermillion, 2 in Elk Point-Jefferson and one this year to a senior from Dakota Valley high school. We are asking each community to help support the scholarship with your donations. The first 4 years, we gave out $3000, yet had no donations from the communities. We would like to ask your help and support. Students now and in the future will benefit when our residents and businesses are fully invested in their well- being. In 2016, we will accept applications from DV, EP-J and Vermillion high school seniors. Please be generous- the investments we make now in our students reflect on the community, and help them in their chosen path in life. Please mail the donation payable to the Clay-Union foundation, and mark the school where it is to be credited on the memo line, so we can track the level of support in each community.

Fundraiser/Annual Event
The Clay-Union foundation has held an annual bike ride in August and a half marathon in September. When available, we invite you to participate in these events. The half marathon was a great success the last 2 years and we look forward to more expansion in the future. Events hosted by the foundation will be posted under the events tab.
